“AND THAT’S A WRAP!”

Today, we had a wonderful day coming together with all those who made this mosaic mural possible. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Green Star Movement for their incredible work in bringing this beautiful mosaic art to our community, and to their amazing youth panel—not only for selecting our application but for helping design, tile, and grout during the hot summer days.

A big thank you to Amazon for their valuable funding. Green Star was awarded $50,000 as a result of their positive and impactful contributions to bringing public art to communities across the city. Thank you as well to Alderman Tabares and her staff for ensuring this project was supported and connected to the important outlets.

And finally, thank you to CSX Railroad for allowing this project to take place on their viaduct walls. We hope this partnership continues and leads to more public art in our community.
